Don't Cut Social Security!
PDF Print E-mail
Call your senators today. Tell them to stop the cuts!
The co-chairs of the White House deficit commission want to carve away at benefits that middle-class Americans receive. Retirement age of 67: sliced. Early retirement before age 62: diced. Cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) increases: chopped. The U.S. Senate may vote on these proposals soon, and we need your help to stop the cuts!

Join us and other allies in participating in today’s National Call Congress Day. Tell your senators to put down the knife and say NO to cutting our Social Security.

The Social Security benefits on the chopping block will hurt middle-class families most, including retirees, survivors and disabled workers. Even young workers—our kids, grandkids and neighbors—who earn $43,000 to $107,000 a year will feel the effects of Social Security eroding, if we don’t step in.

Call your senators RIGHT NOW.
Let them know that Social Security is a promise that must not be broken. We’ve worked hard and paid taxes for the benefit. Social Security belongs to our children, our parents, our neighbors—and to us.
